Happy Birthday to Ludovic Ballouard!

The Nineteenth of April is the special day - the birthday of Ludovic Ballouard!

Please join me in wishing Monsieur Ballouard a very Happy Birthday.

Over the past decade or so, I have gotten to know Ludovic a little bit - and all I can say, he is a wonderful soul. The man is one of the most positive individuals whom I've ever met! I thank my good friend "Mr. A" for making the introduction!

One of our WatchProSite members has this watch with a blue meteorite dial - all I can say is BRAVO!

Ludovic joins me and another watch friend for dinner in San Francisco.

Ludovic Ballouard is not only famous for his own eponymous label - but he was one of the top watchmakers at F.P. Journe! He specialized in assembling the Grand Sonnerie at F.P. Journe!

A terrible picture of a wonderful watch. Ludovic has playful concepts for serious watches. Seeing them always puts a smile on my face.

I don't own one of his Upside Downs. But sometimes I wished I did. There's even an FP Journe quality to the case. And the sides of the case are actually concave! Very difficult to polish!
